Guwahati: Singer Kanika Kapoor landed herself in yet another controversy after the hospital authority asked her to behave like a patient and stop throwing tantrums like a celebrity.
After the Baby Doll singer was tested positive for Coronavirus she was immediately shifted to Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate institute of Medical Science (PGIMS) in Lucknow.
A statement released by the director of PGIMS, R.K.Dhiman stated, “Kanika Kapoor has been provided with the best that is possible in a hospital. She must co-operate as a patient and not throw tantrums of a star”.
The statement also added, “She is being provided Gluten Free Diet from the Hospital Kitchen. The facility provided to her is an isolated room with an attached toilet, patient-bed, and a television even. The ventilation of her room is air-conditioned with a separate Air Handling Unit (AHU) for the Covid-19 unit. We are maintaining the hygiene and cleanliness of the room”.
