GUWAHATI: Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma visited Sonapur Civil Hospital on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday.Sarma arrived in the hospital to enquire about the status of three Coronavirus patients admitted there.
Dr. Sarma interacted with the doctors to review preparations for the treatment of the Coronavirus patients. He also discussed various measures to expedite testing and isolation of suspected cases.
Till now Coronavirus positive cases in Assam touched 24. According to reports, nine cases have been reported from Golaghat district, four each from Nalbari and Morigaon districts, three from Goalpara district and one each from South Salmara, Kamrup (Metro), Kamrup and Karimganj district.
