Construction work to start soon for flyovers in Guwahati, Tezpur

Guwahati: Assam Government will soon start the construction of two more flyovers in the state. Assam Health, Finance and Education Minister Dr. Himata Biswa said that the government will soon start the work for constructing the two new flyovers – at Maligaon in Guwahati and at Mission Chariali in Tezpur.

Dr. Sarma also stated that the work on the flyovers will begin in the first week of next month.

The flyover in Maligaon will be constructed at a cost of Rs. 420.75 crore. This flyover will connect the road that is being constructed on the way to Kamakhya temple. Dr. Sarma also said that the construction work of the Maligaon flyover will start in the next 10 to15 days.
