GUWAHATI, Dec 8: In a bid to ease traffic in Guwahati, the Assam Government today ceremonially kicked off construction work of the double lane flyover connecting Khanapara, Dispur Supermarket and Last Gate.
Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Finance and PWD Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, GDD Minister Siddhartha Bhattacharya were present in the foundation stone laying cum ceremonial beginning of construction work of the flyover.
The 1.4 km-long flyover will be built at an approximate cost of Rs 127.20 crore and construction work will be completed in three years.
