GUWAHATI: The poll fever in Assam has reached a feverish pitch as barely a few days are left for the first phase of assembly elections. Addressing an election rally at Thowra in Sivasagr district on Tuesday, chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal termed Congress and AIUDF as the main enemies of Assam.
“Congress and Badruddin Ajmal’s AIUDF are the main enemies of Assam. We will not allow these poisonous powers to reign in the State. Come whatever sacrifice or hardship, we will defeat these enemies of Assam,” Sonowal said.
