GUWAHATI: Reaffirming the amity between Congress and All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF), AIUDF chief Maulana Badaruddin Ajmal has said today that the alliance between the two parties would remain forever.
“Not only for 2021, our alliance will continue after that,” said Badaruddin Ajmal who accompanied Rajya Sabha candidate Ajit Kumar Bhuyan while filing his nomination papers.
“All the people of Assam, the anti-CAA family have stood united. Therefore, BJP will not dare to field their candidate,” Ajmal added.
Assam’s Senior journalist-cum-activist Ajit Kumar Bhuyan filed his nomination papers as a common candidate of Congress and AIUDF.
