GUWAHATI: Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Saturday interacted with Assam Police personnel who are at the frontline in the fight against COVID-19. During his interaction with the police personnel in Guwahati chief minister Sonowal appreciated Assam Police for joining hands with the public as good Samaritans. He also lauded their commitment in enforcing law and order in the state.
“People have showered unconditional love for you. You all are doing great job. We have to work as a ‘Team Assam.’ The strength and weakness—both are to be discussed so that we can attain perfection in terms of rendering our services to the people of Assam,” said Sonowal during his interaction.
The police personnel also shared their experiences during the lockdown in maintaining law and order and providing help to the poor, need and ailing people.
