GUWAHATI: Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal inaugurated the newly-built building of Sulalkuchi police station in Kamrup district on Friday. The building which has been constructed under the Mission for Overall Improvement of Thana for Responsive Image (MOITRI) was inaugurated in the presence of Assam health, finance and education minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma.
“I feel pleased & privileged having joined him for the same,” Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma stated in a tweet.
Under the MOITRI, several police stations in the state have been constructed with modernized facilities.
The newly built police station at Sualkuchi, Jalukbari, developed under Mission for Overall Improvement of Thana for Responsive Image (MOITRI), has been inaugurated today by HCM @sarbanandsonwal.
