GUWAHATI: Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal today inaugurated E-Thunlai project of Bodo Sahitya Sabha at its 59th annual conference at Khoirabari under Udalguri district.
Attending the concluding day of the conference, CM Sonowal inaugurated the project of Bodo Sahitya Sabha which aims at the digitisation of the Bodo language script and literature for its preservation and awareness.
The literary body has come into an agreement with Ascosys, a leading software company for this digitization project.
To digitally promote and preserve the Bodo language, inaugurated E-Thunlai, an initiative of the Bodo Sahitya Sabha.

In his speech CM Sonowal said,“Bodo Sahitya Sabha has enormous contribution towards the promotion and development of Bodo language and culture. Therefore, I express my gratitude to Bodo Sahitya Sabha.”

Along with chief minister Sarbanada Sonowal, State BJP president Ranjeet Kumar Dass, Bodoland Territorial Council chief Hagrama Mohilary, Rajya Sabha MP Biswajit Daimary, eminent researcher of the Bodo language Prof. Scott Delancy from the USA attended the open meeting on the final day of the conference.
