GUWAHATI: Assam chief minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday visited under construction Lakhimpur Medical College and Hospital to review the progress of the ongoing work.
Dr Sarma inspected newly constructed blocks and wards and reviewed other facilities as well.
“Also held a meeting with the Medical College authorities, PWD, DC & SP. Discussed issues related to manpower and directed to ensure timely completion of the project,” said CM Sarma in a series of tweets.

The chief minister was accompanied by minister Sanjoy Kishan, MP Pradan Baruah, MLAs Manab Deka and Naba Kumar Doley.
Earlier, CM Sarma also visited the site of under construction sports complex in North Lakhimpur.
