GUWAHATI: In view of rising COVID-19 cases in Kamrup (Metropolitan), Dibrugarh and Tinsukia districts, chief minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma advised the deputy commissioners to advance the curfew hours from 12 PM from Monday.
He urged the DCs to take the decisions after consulting with the local people.
“I have advised them to increase the curfew hours by two more hours. I have advised them to enforce the curfew from 12 PM instead of present 2 PM. I have also asked them to enforce micro containment zones,” said Sarma.
