GUWAHATI: Assam chief minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday inspected the construction site of Madhavdev Kalakshetra at Narayanpur in Lakhimpur district.
During his visit, Sarma asked the public works department (PWD) to complete the construction within nine months.
“Visited Narayanpur, the birthplace of spiritual icon Mahapurush Shri Shri Madhavdev to review the under construction site of Madhavdev Kalakshetra.
Directed the PWD Officials to complete construction of the Kalakshetra within nine months.
Asked the local MLA Dr Amiya Kumar Bhuyan to regularly monitor progress of the work & ensure timely completion of the project. MP
