CM Himanta Biswa Sarma interacts with mother, child in Kokrajhar

GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma continues to strive for the welfare of the state by communicating directly with the public at grassroots. Many times, he is seen interacting with the general public asking them about various issues and problems.

On his visit to Kokrajhar on Sunday, CM Sarma had an interaction with a mother and her child. Local people had gathered in large numbers to see the chief minister. His question to the mother on whether the child got Anganwadi benefits provided the inputs that the chief minister wanted. CM Sarma immediately directed the accompanying Deputy Commissioner to find out why there was no Anganwadi centre in Salbari and solve the issue immediately.

Patting the child CM Himanta Biswa Sarma assured the people that their problems will be sorted out very soon. The chief minister has been in continuous touch with all the segments of the society, and people don’t fear or hesitate to express their worries and woes to him which he tries to solve wherever possible.
