GUWAHATI: Assam chief minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday congratulated boxers Shiva Thappa and Lovlina Borgohain for bringing medals for the country at Asian Boxing Championships held in Dubai on Monday.
Taking to Twitter, Sarma lauded Assam boxer Shiva for winning silver at the championships.

He also congratulated Lovlina for bagging the bronze medal in the 69kg category. Lovlina hails from Golaghat district of upper Assam.
