GUWAHATI: A State Bank of India (SBI) probationary officer reportedly committed suicide in the Nagaon town of middle Assam after a failed love affair. Khundarakpam Jay Kumar Singh (29) from Manipur was found hanging at his rented house in the Khutikotiya area of Nagaon on Wednesday night.
Following the incident, police arrived on the spot and sent the body for post-mortem.
A senior SBI official told media persons that Singh was cheated in his relationship. Police has been investigating to unearth the reasons of the suicide of the bank probationary officer.
