GUWAHATI: A youth from Chabua (Dibrugarh) has died in a road accident in Arunachal Pradesh. A group of seven youths were travelling in a Mahindra Bolero vehicle to Digaru where they met with an accident.
The youth identified as Mintu Gogoi was a resident of Rajabari, Chabua.
According to reports, Mintu Gogoi died on the spot and the other 6 passengers of the vehicle were injured in the accident. The injured have been shifted to Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh.
“They had gone on a travel trip. We received a call in Arunachali language from someone who informed us that our nephew had met with an accident and died. We also came to know that rest of the passengers have received injuries and have been shifted to the medical college with help from Arunachal Pradesh administration,” said a close relative of Mintu Gogoi.
