Around 15 passengers of a Guwahati-Tinsukia night bus (registration number (AS 01 GG 0711) were injured after the speeding bus skidded off the road and overturned in the adjacent paddy field at Rajmai in Dimow in Sivasagar district of Assam.
The accident took place in the wee hours today (Aug 25).

The injured passengers were rushed to local hospitals. All the injured passengers are learnt to be out of danger and many of them were discharged after being provided first-aid treatment.
