BTC polls: Will tie up with ABSU if there is understanding over seat sharing says Hagrama

GUWAHATI: Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) chief Hagrama Mohilary on Sunday said that an understanding over seat sharing can result in a coalition with ABSU (All Bodo Students Union) for the upcoming BTC polls.

The Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) is an autonomous district council for the Bodoland Territorial Region of Assam state in India.

Speaking at a public function in Nalbari, Hagrama Mohilary told reporters that in the upcoming BTC polls a coalition with ABSU is on the cards if both the parties arrive at an understanding over seat sharing.

Moreover, the BPF chief said that the coalition with AGP (Asom Gana Parishad) and BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) will continue in the state.
