GUWAHATI: In two separate operations, troops of Border Security Force (BSF) under Guwahati Frontier seized 15 Kg Ganja and 130 bottles of Phensedyl in the bordering areas of Cooch Behar district in West Bengal .
Acting on tip-off, troops of Fulbari Border Out Post of 47 Battalion of BSF under Guwahati Frontier carried out a special operation in general area of Singimari under the Sitalkuchi Police Station and seized 15 KG ganja on the intervening night of August 7-8..
“In the other operation, acting on tip-off, troops of Border Out Post West Chamta, of 100 Bn BSF, under Guwahati Frontier, seized 130 bottle Phensedyl in the general area of Village West Chamta, PS- Setai, Distt- Coochbehar (WB) during the intervening night of 07/08 Aug 2020. Seized Phensedyl is being handed over to concern Police Station for further legal action,” a press release stated.
