GUWAHATI: Acting on a tip-off, troops of 07 Battalion, Border Security Force (BSF), Mizoram and Cachar Frontier carried out an operation on Friday and seized 210 packets Beedi (SK Nasiruddin Brand) along with one Bajaj Auto rickshaw in Jagannathi under Karimganj district of Assam.
A BSF spokesperson said that the total value of seizure Rs.2,44,500. Further, the seized items were handed over to Customs Office in Karimganj.
