GUWAHATI, Dec 4: As part of the ongoing Swachhta Pakhwada (Dec 1 to 15), the Border Security Force (BSF) Guwahati Frontier, Patgaon, launched a massive cleanliness drive under the theme ‘Swachhta Hi Sewa’.
The drive witnessed active participation from BSF officers, subordinate officers and Seema Prahatis.
During the campaign, public places outside the BSF Campus, including Rani Gate Market, Azara Railway Station and Railway Yard were thoroughly cleaned. Officers, subordinate officers and Seema Praharis of Frontier Headquarter BSF Guwahati participated in the drive enthusiastically.
The aim of the campaign was to raise awareness about cleanliness among BSF personnel, their families, and the local community.
Similarly, cleanliness campaigns were also organized in all sector headquarters and Battalions under BSF Guwahati Frontier and up to the Border Out post (BOP) level located on India-Bangladesh International Border.
The Border Security Force is committed not only to safeguarding the international borders but also to promoting cleanliness and civic responsibility.
This drive is part of BSF’s broader efforts to contribute to the well-being of the nation and the local population.
