BSF foils twin infiltration bid, apprehends six Bangladeshi nationals in Tripura

GUWAHATI, Nov 26: The Border Security Force (BSF) foiled two attempts by Bangladeshi nationals to enter India through the Tripura border and apprehended 6 people from the neighbouring country while they were trying to enter India illegally.

While three Bangladeshi nationals were held by troopers from the Murtichera Border Outpost (BOP), three others were nabbed while they were trying to cross over to India from the border in North Tripura.

A woman and a minor girl are among the six Bangladeshis nationals held by BSF troopers.

BSF troopers, in another operation, seized contraband drugs valued at Rs 10 lakh.
