GUWAHATI: Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted about seven more COVID-19 cases in the State. Among them six patients belong to Hojai district but are in Sarusajai quarantine centre in Guwahati. On the other hand, one patient is from Dhubri. The person is also in quarantine. With these the total cases in Assam has mounted to 266. Currently, there are 205 active cases in the State.
Arrangements have been already made to shift the new COVID-19 patients to the hospitals for COVID-19 treatment.
