GUWAHATI: One moore person from Cachar district has tested COVID-19 positive in Assam taking the state’s tally to 97. Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma took to Twitter to announce the new COVID-19 positive case.
“A 28-year person from Cachar dist, who arrived from Chennai yesterday, has tested #COVID +. He is now under treatment at Silchar Medical College & Hospital.
Total cases 97
Recovered 41

Deaths 2
Migrated 2,” Sarma tweeted.
