Breaking: One more COVID-19 positive in Assam, count rises to 171

GUWAHATI: One more person has tested COVID-19 positive in Assam on Wednesday. Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma took to Twitter to announce the new case from Karimganj district. Dr. Sarma stated that the person was in the quarantine centre. With this new case, the total number of positive cases in Assam has gone up to 171. Currently there are 116 active cases in the state.  While 48 people have recovered, the state has reported 4 deaths so far. On the other hand, 3 patients have migrated to other states.
