Former India cricketer Bishen Singh Bedi passed away on Monday. He was 77.
Bedi, who is regarded as one of the greatest left-arm spinners cricket has ever produced, played 67 Tests and 10 one-dayers for India.
Born on September 25, 1946, in Amritsar, he made his debut for India in 1966 and went on to represent his country until 1979.
Bedi picked up 266 wickets in Test cricket with 14 five-wicket hauls besides scalping 7 wickets in ODIs.
He is survived by his son Angad Bedi, a Bollywood actor, and daughter-in-law Neha Dhupia.
