Guwahati: Four more COVID-19 patients have succumbed to the infection on Wednesday. The deceased COVID-19 patients have been identified as Bimal Paul (78) from Cachar, Hema Devi (77) from Tinsukia and Dr. S.A.W. Hussain (85) and Debari Karmakar (40) from Jorhat.
Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “Very sad to share that four more #COVID patients have lost their battle against pandemic today- Shri Bimal Paul (78) from Cachar, Smt Hema Devi (77) from Tinsukia and Dr S.A.W. Hussain (85) & Smt Debari Karmakar (40) from Jorhat. May God help their families to bear this pain”
