GUWAHATI: One more Coronavirus positive case has been detected in Assam taking the total number to 25. The patient is from North Lakhimpur was also an attendee of Tablighi Jamaat at Nizamuddin Markaz in Delhi.
Taking to Twitter, Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “Alert ~ One more #Covid_19 positive case from North Lakhimpur District has been confirmed, taking the total number in Assam to 25.This patient is also related to #NizamuddinMarkaz event in Delhi. Update at 11.16 am/ April 4.”
Among the all 25 Coronavirus cases in Assam, 24 cases are linked to the religious congregation at Nizamuddin Markaz.
