GUWAHATI: As per the latest update shared by Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Twitter, the state has reported 273 new COVID-19 positive cases on Friday. Among them 203 cases have been reported from Guwahati.
The addition of these cases takes the total count to 6919.
Announcing the new cases, Dr. sarma also urged the people to follow lockdown.
“Guwahati city alone sees a surge of 203 cases today and time for us to follow lockdown instructions. Your cooperation is vital,” he tweeted.
