GUWAHATI: Assam reported 479 new COVID-19 positive cases on Thursday. Among them, 238 cases are from Guwahati alone.
Tweeting about the new cases, Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma has urged everyone to take proper precautions.
With the addition of these new cases, the total count in Assam has reached 9434. While 6106 people have recovered, there are 3311 active cases in the state. Assam has so far reported 14 COVID-19 deaths.
