GUWAHATI: A day after Bodoland People’s Front (BPF)  published its list of candidates for Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) elections, the BPF workers on Saturday vandalised a party office at Naraynpur under Dihira constituency in Baksa district over a difference of choice of candidates.

According to reports, the aggrieved workers protested against the party’s decision to field Rajesh Boral as a candidate for Dihira constituency in BTC elections. The leaders and members of 15 primary committees demanded to give BPF ticket to senior leader and former MCLA Munsingh Brahma.

In the evening a section of angry workers vandalised and set ablaze the furniture of the office. The 15 primary committees of BPF also threatened to resign if the party doesn’t revoke the candidature of Rajesh Boral.
