Bollywood actors Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor arrived at Tezpur Airport in Assam on Thursday (November 17) afternoon.
They will be in Tezpur for the next few days to shoot their upcoming movie ‘Fighter’ starring Hrithik Roshan who arrived in Tezpur on November 14 and currently interacting and training with the Air Base Officers at Air Force Station in Tezpur’s Salonibari.
The shooting of the movie will start on November 18 and the director has charted out a 10-day schedule in the Northeast state.
According to a mid-day report, Directed by Siddharth Anand, ‘Fighter’ marks Roshan’s first collaboration with Anil Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. Hrithik and Deepika will be seen as Indian Air Force pilots, while Anil Kapoor will essay the role of Roshan’s mentor.
The report added that they will wrap the first schedule of the shooting by November end but they won’t resume shooting till 2023 as ‘Pathaan’ is up for release in January 2023. Deepika and Siddharth will be busy promoting the film with Shah Rukh Khan. After the release of Pathaan, the shooting of ‘Fighter’ will resume.
‘Fighter’ is scheduled to release in theatres on January 25, 2024.
