Bollywood mourns actor Atul Parchure’s demise

GUWAHATI, Oct, 15: Bollywood stars mourned the demise of veteran actor Atul Parchure who breathed his last in Mumbai after a prolonged battle with cancer. He was 57.

Apart from many celebrated Bollywood movies where he acted with many top Bollywood stars, Parchure gained wider popularity with Comedy Nights with Kapil and Comedy Circus.
He also starred in films such as Shah Rukh Khan’s Billu, Salman Khan’s Partner and Ajay Devgn’s All The Best.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also expressed his condolences on social media after learning about the veteran actor’s demise.

“Premature exit of a clever actor: Someone who makes the audience laugh out loud and sometimes brings tears in the eyes. The untimely demise of ever introspective class actor Atul Parchure is painful. Atul Parchure has shown his glorious acting since Balrangbhumi days. He made a unique impression in all three fields of drama, film and serials. A classy Marathi actor has been lost due to his departure,” he wrote, and extended his condolences to the bereaved family members.
