And Bollywood actress Dia Mirza’s love for an eco-conscious lifestyle and animal conservation comes as no surprise.
Currently, Dia Mirza is in Kazairanga National Park for a conservation event of Wild Life Trust India.
Speaking to News Live, Dia said, ” Kaziranga National Park is one of my favorite destination. 8 years back when I first came here I visited Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation And Conservation in association with Wild Life Trust India. I have been working for animal conservation for the last 10 years. The work that the government and the wild life conservation organization are doing in order to protect and recue the animals is commendable.”
“I have heard that the Bhutan King is schedule to visit Kaziranga National Park. He will definitely love our forests and diversity and I would love to invite him to visit Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation And Conservation,” said the Bollywood Diva.
” According to the recent report Assam recorded zero poaching of endangered one-horned rhinos and this is commendable. The Assam government has done a great job in putting a full stop on rhino poaching and I would love that if other species are also being protected the same way,” She further added.
