GUWAHATI: The great warrior Bir Chilarai is being remembered today across the state on his 510th birth anniversary.

Various programmes have been organized in different parts of the state to pay tribute to the famous commander-in-chief of  Nara Narayan, the king of the Kamata kingdom in the 16th century.
