GUWAHATI: Acting on a tip off, Baksa Police on Sunday night launched a search operation and recovered one AK47 rifle and one magazine with 41 rounds of ammunition from Moithabari forest area, near Nayabasti under Baganpara out-post of Barbari police station.
Baksa Police shared the information through a Twitter post. Baksa Police Tweeted, “Baksa Police based on specific information, a search operation was launched in the Moithabari area, near Nayabasti, under Baganpara OP of Barbari PS last night and recovered 1 AK47 Rifle, 1 AK Magazine and 41 rounds of Ammunition in Jungle area.”
