Baby rhino rescued in Kaziranga


GUWAHATI: A baby rhino was rescued in Kaziranga National Park in Assam on Sunday morning. The rhino is said to be 3-4 day old. It has been shifted to Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation (CWRC) at Borjuri adjacent to the Panbari Reserve Forest of the park.

“A 3-4 days old rhino baby was rescued by our staff at 10:30am today and was taken to our rescue centre CWRC for further observations. All possible efforts will be taken to reunite him with his mother,” the Kaziranga National park authority said in a tweet.
