Guwahati: Kanika Kapoor who is best known for her songs Baby Doll and Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan, tested positive for the novel coronavirus on Friday. She has been admitted to the King George’s Medical University (KGMU) hospital in Lucknow.
According to reports, Kanika Kapoor returned from London to Lucknow on Friday and has tested positive for the novel virus. She was a part of four persons who tested positive for it in Uttar Pradesh on Friday.
The 41-year-old singer was in London for a while and returned to Lucknow on March 15. She also refrained from informing authorities about her travel history. (Inputs from India Today)
