Baba Mohan Das walks from Kerala to Assam

GUWAHATI: A man who has been walking from Kerala since the beginning of COVID-19 has reached Dhemaji, Assam. The destination of Baba Mohan Das is Arunachal Pradesh. Das has been away from his family since 2013 and has stayed in an ashram in Chandigarh. He intends to walk all the way to the mystique hills of Arunachal Pradesh.

Baba Mohan Das uses a hand trolley as his transport vehicle that is loaded with his daily use items. Baba rests at any place he reaches by sunset.

During his long journey Baba Mohan has been accused of being a carrier of Coronavirus.

Speaking to News Live Baba Mohan Das shared his experience, “Coronavirus is not a disease, it is a war. It has stopped everything like money, travel etc. and is the work of the almighty. After the end of my journey I intend to leave my body here.”

The motive of Baba Mohan Das’s journey is to become a Naga Sadhu in the hills of Arunachal Pradesh.
