VIENNA: Following the terror attack in Vienna, Austria Interior Minister Karl Nehammer said that initial investigations indicate the suspect who was killed sympathised with the Islamic State. Two other suspects have been arrested by the police.
The world leaders have condemned the attack and expressed grief over the loss of lives.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also reacted to the incident.
“Deeply shocked and saddened by the dastardly terror attacks in Vienna,” Prime Minister Modi tweeted. “India stands with Austria during this tragic time. My thoughts are with the victims and their families,” he added.
