Assam’s Jyotishman Saikia topped the JEE (Main) Session 1 exam 2024 from northeast, results of which were declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA) late on Monday.
In the list of state-wise toppers and their NTA scores in Paper 1 (BE/BTech), Jyotishman is also the state topper from Assam with an NTA score of 99.92.
Tripura’s Antareep Ray stood second among the aspirants from the seven NE states. He secured an NTA score of 99.82 percentile.
The other state-wise toppers from Northeast are:
- Vinnakota Sneha Naga Sanjana of Arunachal Pradesh scores 99.42,
- Rohan Singh Leishangthem of Manipur scores 98.53
- Abhijnan Saraswat Gogoi of Meghalaya scores 98.09
- John Laldingliana of Mizoram scores 93.62
- MD Siddek Ahmed Choudhury of Nagaland scores 98.87
- Priansh Yajnik of Sikkim scores 99.94
The NTA has declared the results of the JEE (Main) Session 1 exam 2024 on Monday.
As per the NTA list, 53 candidates topped the Session 1 exam from different states of the country. A total of 23 candidates scored full scores in the examination.
Notably, the JEE (Main) Session 1 exam was conducted at 544 centers across 291 cities in 13 languages, including English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
