Assam’s Ishwari Deka secures 320th rank in UPSC Civil Services exam 2023

Assam’s Ishwari Deka has secured 320th rank in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Exam 2023 (CSE 2023).

Deka a resident of Chitralekha Nagar, Tezpur has secured 320th rank in the UPSC CSE 2023 examination.

She is the daughter of retired Vice-Principal of Rangapara College Dr. Ranendra Mohan Deka and retired Principal of Tezpur Government Higher Secondary Multipurpose Girls School Bharati Das.

She is an alumnus of St Joseph’s Convent, Tezpur and has completed her BA and MA from Delhi University.

Earlier Deka has also secured 3rd position in the Assam Finance Service.

Meanwhile, Aditya Srivastava and Animesh Pradhan have scored AIR 1 and 2 respectively, followed by Donuru Ananya Reddy at the third spot.

A total number of 1016 candidates have been recommended for appointment. The roll number of candidates who have qualified the exam has been released by the UPSC. The candidature of 355 recommended candidates has been kept provisional.

The CSE main exam was held in subjective mode over two shifts from September 15 to September 24. Each shift lasted three hours, held in the morning from 9 am to 12 pm and afternoon from 2 pm to 5 pm.
