GUWAHATI: The Assam health department has intensified COVID-19 testing in the State on war footing. Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma took to Twitter to announce the completion of 246,590 COVID-19 tests on Thursday.
“Today our #COVID19 testing figures hit 246,590, about 11000 plus than June 17.
We are pursuing the strategy of active tracing and testing in our bid to contain any further spread of #CoronaVirus. Kudos to our team,” Sarma tweeted.
