GUWAHATI: With the addition of 2,560 fresh COVID-19 cases, the COVID-19 tally in Assam has crossed 1 lakh mark. The COVID-19 count in the state now stands at 1,01367.
Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “Alert ~ 2560 #COVID cases detected today out of 40102 tests done in last 24 hours Positivity Rate- 6.38% Kamrup M- 562, Jorhat-167, Cachar- 165, Dibrugarh- 139, Hailakandi- 135

On the other hand, the death toll in the state reached 286 with the deaths of eight more patients.
