No mobile phones, HSLC Exams to be held under CCTV cameras

Guwahati: The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has stated that the High School Leaving Certificate(HSLC)Exam and Assam High Madrassa (AHM) Exams will be conducted under CCTV (Closed-circuit television)  cameras. The board announced the dates and the routine on Tuesday.

Ramesh Chand Jain, SEBA Chairman, informed that the use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited inside the examination centres and the examinations will be conducted under mandatory CCTV surveillance.

According to a press release issued by SEBA, the examination will begin from 10th February and will continue till 29th February 2020. Exams will be conducted in two shifts, morning and afternoon. The morning shift will be conducted from 09:00 AM-12:00 PM and the Afternoon shift will be conducted from 01:30 PM-04:30 PM.

A total of 3 lakhs, 57 thousand students will be appearing in the examination in this session.

The practical exams will be conducted on 21 and 22 January.
