GUWAHATI: Three persons including a girl from Kahilipara died in a car accident in North Guwahati. The incident took place at around 03:00 AM on Saturday.
The accident took place after the driver of the vehicle Suzuki Swift Dzire (AS-01-BN-1574) lost control and the car fell in a ditch. Among the three passengers, one was female and other two were males.
The woman has been identified as Dhanismita Sarma a resident of Kahilipara. The others are Rajib Sarma of Rangia and Tapan Sarma of Nalbari.
As per reports, the car was going towards Baihata from Guwahati.
Local residents saw the car and informed the police. Police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies from the accident spot in the morning.
The Swift Dzire owner has been identified as one Govindo Baishya of Dispur, Guwahati.
