GUWAHATI, Dec 18: Five person have been held in multiple raids conducted by the Special Task Force of Assam Police in Kokrajhar and Dhubri districts for their alleged links with Pakistan terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM).
Four persons have been held from Kokrajhar while another one was arrested from Dhubri district.
While Nur Islam, Majibu Rahman, Hamidul Islam and Abdul Karim were arrested from Kokrajhar district, a person named Inamul Haque was held for alleged JeM links in Dhubri district.
The raids are still underway at the time of filing of this report.
