Assam: Special Rajdhani Express connects Lakhimpur, Rangapara, Udalguri via Bogibeel Bridge

GUWAHATI: The superfast Rajdhani Express that is one of the fastest trains in India will now connect many districts of upper Assam to the rest of the country. The Rajdhani Express that runs on the Dibrugarh- New Delhi route will now connect  Lakhimpur, Rangapara areas of Assam.

For the first time, Rajdhani express will run through the Bogibeel Bridge on Monday. The train will run twice every week on Mondays and Fridays from Dibrugarh to New Delhi and New Delhi to Dibrugarh.

It is to be mentioned that the train will cover Dibrugarh, North Lakhimpur, Harmuti, Rangapara North, New Misamari, Udalguri, Tangla, Rangiya Jn, New Bongaigaon, Kokrajhar areas of Assam.

The Dibrugarh- New Delhi COVID 19 AC Special (Via Bogibeel) runs from Dibrugarh to Delhi. It departs from Dibrugarh station (DBRG) at 22:00 and arrives at New Delhi station (NDLS) at 13:55 on platform 12, 13. The train takes 39 hrs 55 minutes to cover the distance of 2276 km between Dibrugarh and New Delhi. The average speed of this train is 57 kmph. It has classes First AC (1A), Second AC (2A) and Third AC (3A).
