GUWAHATI: The Assam Government has released a fresh COVID19 SOP — Standard Operating Procedure — on Tuesday. Curfew restrictions for Guwahati remain unchanged from the last SOP. In Guwahati, the movement of general public has been allowed till 5 PM. The closing of shops and establishments has been fixed at 4 PM. Essential services will not be affected by the restrictions.
Addressing a press conference in Guwahati, Assam health minister Keshab Mahanta informed that 11 districts in Assam including Kamrup(Metro) will have curfew restrictions from 5 PM to 5 AM.
The 11 districts of Assam with curfew restrictions from 5 PM to 5 AM are: Kamrup(Metro), Dhubri, South Salmara, Majuli, Bongaigaon, Chirang, Udlaguri, West Karbi Anglong, Dima Hasao, Charaideo and Hailakandi.
