GUWAHATI: Promising Assamese singer Parbin Pori died due to COVID-19 at a private hospital in Guwahati on Saturday.
The singer was undergoing treatment at GNRC Hospital, Guwahati.
Her father also lost his life to COVID-19 two days before her death.
The cultural fraternity has expressed deep sorrow over the untimely demise of the talented singer.
Recently, the cultural arena of the State lost two other veteran singers to — Bhitali Das and Bijaylakshmi Das to COVID-19.
